Common problems and mistakes in estate planning
-Having an outdated Will. Whenever something significant happens in your life, you should think about updating your Will.
-Failure to provide for a guardian for themselves in the event of disability.
-Outdated powers of attorney. This should be updated if necessary. For example, if you gave power of attorney to your Uncle Bob, who is now deceased, that can pose a problem!
-Failure to consider Medicaid planning or other benefits.
